John has been in the franchise community for over 25 years with a diverse background as both a franchisor and franchisee. Dolores Cadena was a Subway franchisee for over 25 years. She has extensive experience in site selection, project management and opening new locations. David Walker is one of the original pioneers of the global coworking movement and has been a leader in the industry for 14 years. David co-founded and co-operated one of the first 50 coworking spaces in the world (pre-WeWork), growing it to three locations in Austin over 6.5 years. For the past 8 years as a Founding Partner at OpenWork Agency, Walker has provided coworking consulting to clients globally including Nairobi, Singapore, Cambodia, Bahamas, Dubai, and numerous locations within the USA. Born and raised in the Lonestar State and a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Walker has spent much of his life there, but has also lived throughout Mexico, and is now settled in Prescott, Arizona with his wife and two sons. He serves as the coworking consultant for SUCCESS® Space and is excited about disrupting and innovating the shared workspace industry via its one-of-a-kind retail coworking model.
Ben is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) and a global expert on franchising with a broad range of executive management and franchise-building experience. As the founder and Principal of Franchise Well he has developed and implemented strategic plans for a diverse group of companies including Exxon Mobil, IKEA, RE/MAX, The UPS Store and Success Space. In 2009 he created the Franchise Management Certificate Program at Georgetown University in Washington, DC where he serves as the program director and instructor. He is also an adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Maryland where he teaches in the online business school. Ben is an award-winning researcher on franchising, a frequent author and lecturer, and an expert witness in franchise related cases. He has a BBA from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, an executive MBA from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas, and a Doctor of Management degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus. He supports the franchise strategy and development of the SUCCESS® Space franchise program.
Rocco has over two decades in entrepreneurship and franchising, with a wide-breadth of experience in strategic management, brand-building, and leading field support teams. His strengths are in operational leadership, brand management, concept development, strategic planning, and franchise systems growth. Guided by the desire to help people do better, whether in life, in business, or in school. Rocco recently earned his Doctor of Business Administration and besides coaching small business owners and franchisees; he teaches business courses at two local Universities in Delaware. Inspired by famous running legend Steve Prefontaine, who said, “To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift” Rocco sincerely tries to bring out the best everyone he coaches and teaches.
Don has been a leader in the personal development, and human potential movement. Since the mid 80’s, he has spoken to nearly 2 million people and coached thousands. Hobbs serves as the Director of Coaching, and as former President of SUCCESS® Enterprises, founding SUCCESS® Coaching. Prior to his current roles with the SUCCESS® Companies, Hobbs co-founded Hobbs/Herder Advertising, an industry interrupter and leader in real estate agent branding and marketing. There he built his first coaching company, and was named to The National Association of Realtors® Magazines, “Top 25 Most Influential People in Real Estate”. During his business career, Don has been the President of Jim Rohn Productions, President of MAPS Business Coaching, and Co-Founder of The International Association of Expert Partners. Hobbs has spoken for hundreds of national and international conferences for companies like eXp Realty, T-Mobile, Fidelity Title, Keller Williams, First American Title, RE/MAX, Sotheby’s, Panasonic and Sport Clips. Articles about him have appeared in publications including The New York, The LA Times, Wall Street Journal, SUCCESS, USA Today, Inman News, Apple News, Broker Agent News and many others. He is a SUCCESS® Certified Coach and Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner.
Fred is the founder of BNA Restaurant Advisors, a Nashville, Tennessee based consulting firm. Prior to that he was an owner of the Woodland Group, and an operator of a 22-unit Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar franchise in Tennessee and Kentucky. He previously served in management and culinary positions at Chef’s International, Morrison, Inc., Hyatt House Hotel, Holiday Inn and the United States Navy and Coast Guard. Fred has been educated at the Culinary Institute of America, Cornell University School of Hospitality Management and is a graduate of Georgetown’s Franchise Management program. Fred serves as a mentor and judge to high school culinary & management teams in the National Restaurant Association’s ProStart program and volunteers at Room At The Inn, a program to feed Nashville’s homeless. Fred believes one must do good and be good, and to always remember that a restaurant is a business designed to make money.
